MY STORY

I'm Esther Heleen, a passionate portrait and art photographer from the Netherlands. Since the age of 14 I've been interested in the art of photography, delving deep into its realms to capture not just images, but emotions, stories, and the essence of the human experience.

For me, photography is more than just a profession; it's a journey of self-discovery and expression. It was through the medium of self-portraiture that I found a way to explore my innermost thoughts and emotions. 

My creative process is intuitive, often sparked by visions of colors, settings, and moods that linger in my mind until they demand manifestation. These images, born from the depths of my imagination, evolve into visual tales that resonate with themes both personal and universal. Each photograph serves as a reflection of my own ongoing journey.
